Hi, I'm Wilson Ogunlade

For more than eight years I've worked at the intersection of business and data — building the dashboards leadership teams rely on and training the analysts who maintain them. My background spans finance, retail and the public sector, so I speak both the language of data and the language of the people who need to act on it.

I work hands-on, end to end: from untangling messy source systems and designing a clean semantic model, to crafting reports that are genuinely a pleasure to use. No jargon, no black boxes — just clear, dependable insight your team can own.

My Story

From spreadsheets to clarity

I started where most analysts do — buried in spreadsheets, rebuilding the same reports every month, knowing there had to be a better way. Power BI was that better way, and learning to use it properly changed how the organisations I worked with made decisions.

Since then I've made it my work to give others that same leverage. Whether I'm parachuting in to rescue a stalled reporting project or running a room full of analysts through their first DAX measures, the goal is always the same: leave the team more capable than I found them.

That philosophy shapes everything DataTarget does. I'm not interested in building something only I can maintain. I build clarity — and I hand you the keys.
